Super Visa (Parent / Grand Parents)
A super visa lets you visit your children or grandchildren for up to 2 years at a time. It’s a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years.
One of the main requirement of this program is a medical insurance. You must buy a medical insurance at least $100,000 Coverage from a Canadian Insurance Company and should be valid for 1 year from the date of entry to Canada.
Only your child or grandchild who is a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen is eligible to apply for super visa for their parents or grandparents. They have to give you a letter of Invitation mentioning financial support from their side during your stay in Canada. As a proof of their status in Canada, they have to provide a copy of their Canadian citizenship or permanent resident document.
