To hire a foreign in-home caregiver two new pilot programs Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot are introduced on June 18, 2019. These Pilot are 5-year pilot programs. Qualified caregivers along with their spouse and dependent children can come to Canada together.

Home Child Care Provider Pilot

Home Support Worker Pilot.

After having 2 year of eligible work experience in Canada home childcare provider or home support worker can get chance to become permanent resident of Canada. Caregiver’s should meet all of the eligibility requirements. While the caregivers are getting work experience, their immediate family members will also be entitled to open work permits and/ or study permits.

Eligibility Requirements:

In order to qualify for a position as a Nanny in Canada, you must meet the following requirements set by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)

Job Offer:

You must have a genuine and valid full-time job offer from a Canadian employer

Language Requirements:

Ability to speaking, reading, writing, and listening either English or French.

you should meet the language requirements to prove that you meet the minimum language skills (CLB 5 in English or NLCL 5 in French)

Education Requirements:

you must have successfully completed post secondary education credential of at least one year in Canada. If you don’t have a Canadian educational credential provide ECA that shows your qualification is equal to a completed Canadian one year Post Secondary Education credential or higher
